I've spent the last 26 years in Financial Services, having worked with large, national firms before founding Landmark. My role is a strategic one, and I no longer advise clients.
My spare time is dominated by family and sport. I have two sons, Maxwell and Oliver and they keep my Wife Sally and I on our toes! I coach and (still) play cricket for Belvoir CC and I'm a big rugby fan.
I have worked in the Financial Services industry for 29 years. I began my career with Pearl Assurance moving to Barclays Bank in the late 90’s. I have held several senior manager positions with both organisations. After several years as a business risk consultant, I joined Landmark. My role at Landmark is Operations and Compliance Director. I am married to Laura, a very busy head teacher and we have one son James. I love all things mechanical, including motorcycles.
I joined Landmark in 2004 and have worked within Financial Services for over 25 years. In the past 10 years I have focussed specifically in helping clients with their Investment & Pension planning needs. I hold the Diploma in Financial Planning along with the Advanced qualification in pension planning, additionally I act as Landmarks pension specialist. I am also qualified to provide advice in Long Term Care and Lifetime Mortgages. I have lived in the Stamford area since childhood and have 3 children who have grown up in Stamford. I am happy to meet with clients at Rock House or at their homes to discuss their requirements.
I qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2004 whilst working for KPMG. Following that I held accounting positions in the City of London and latterly for a FTSE 100 Group. I joined Landmark in 2015 to combine my experience of accountancy with my passion for advising clients on their personal finances.
I have a degree in Economics and have achieved the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning as accredited by The Chartered Insurance Institute.
I am now working towards achieving Chartered Financial Planner status. As well as being a Financial Adviser I am also the Head of Finance at Landmark IFA.
I have worked for Landmark for 7 years and have 26 years’ experience in Financial services. Specialising mostly in Retirement Planning and Investments, I work with individuals and companies to ensure they are invested and protected appropriately. I am a fully qualified Independent Financial Adviser and also hold qualifications in Mortgage Advice and Equity Release.

I have 26 years’ experience in the financial services industry and have built up a wealth of knowledge in this area to help my clients plan for their financial security whatever their needs. I pride myself on my personal communication skills and my ability to relate to clients from all walks of life and financial awareness. Many of my clients have become personal friends with their family members becoming clients through continuous referral. I have the Diploma in financial planning and provide advice across a wide range of client needs such as Retirement planning, Investments, Estate planning and Protection.
Interests outside of work include all types of sport, keeping fit, cars and motorcycles.
After leaving the RAF following 14 years service, my career path took me unexpectedly into the financial services industry where I have served as an IFA for 32 years and with Landmark since 2009.
Over the many years in the industry, I have gained valuable experience in the mortgage and protection market and the retirement planning market involving pensions and investments. However, of late my preferred market is the retirement planning market involving pensions and investments especially with the coming of the "Pension Freedoms".
My clients are many and varied, young and elderly, some near some far, and working from home I am more than happy to visit clients in their own home or at their workplace.
Whilst not working, my hobbies include playing the keyboard for my local evangelical church, ten pin bowling and supporting my hometown football team Huddersfield Town

I joined Landmark in 2006 and have worked in financial services for 21 years since deciding to stop commuting to London, where I worked in banking. I am now concentrating on the mortgage market where I have considerable experience of all types of mortgages, including Residential, Buy to Let, and Equity Release. I also provide protection products including Life Insurance and Mortgage Protection and Income protection, along with general insurance such as Building and contents. I am happy to visit clients at their homes at a time to suit or am available to meet in Rock House if preferred.
I am a Chartered Financial Planner with 23 years' experience in financial services. I specialise in wealth management, helping my clients to achieve their goals and maintain them throughout their life. I particularly enjoy cash flow modelling coupled with investment and tax planning to enable people to keep more of what they have earned. I am able to advise on all aspects of financial planning including equity release.
I get on well with people and many of my clients have become close friends over the years.
I have a degree in Applied Chemistry which explains my analytical nature!
I love animals and in my spare time like nothing more than taking my golden retrievers to the beach. I have a motorhome and enjoy travelling, as well as photography, playing golf and cooking.
