  • Kevin Mullins

    I've spent the last 26 years in Financial Services, having worked with large, national firms before founding Landmark. My role is a strategic one, and I no longer advise clients.

    My spare time is dominated by family and sport. I have two sons, Maxwell and Oliver and they keep my Wife Sally and I on our toes! I coach and (still) play cricket for Belvoir CC and I'm a big rugby fan.

    I have worked in Financial Services  for 29 years. I began my career with Pearl Assurance in the late 80's moving to Barclays Bank in the late 90’s. I held several senior manager positions within both organisations. After several years as a business risk consultant, I joined Landmark as  Operations and Compliance Director. I am married to Laura, a very busy head teacher and we have one son James. I enjoy riding my motorcycle, at least in the summer months, spending some time in Europe each year touring.

    I joined Landmark in 2004 and have worked within Financial Services for over 25 years. In the past 10 years I have focussed specifically in helping clients with their Investment & Pension planning needs. I hold the Diploma in Financial Planning along with the Advanced qualification in pension planning, additionally I act as Landmarks pension specialist. I am also qualified to provide advice in Long Term Care and Lifetime Mortgages. I have lived in the Stamford area since childhood and have 3 children who have grown up in Stamford. I am happy to meet with clients at Rock House or at their homes to discuss their requirements.

    I qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2004 whilst working for KPMG. Following that I held accounting positions in the City of London and latterly for a FTSE 100 Group. I joined Landmark in 2015 to combine my experience of accountancy with my passion for advising clients on their personal finances.

    I have a degree in Economics and have achieved the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning as accredited by The Chartered Insurance Institute.

    I am now working towards achieving Chartered Financial Planner status. As well as being a Financial Adviser I am also the Head of Finance at Landmark IFA.

    I have spent the last 33 years in Financial Services, occupying many different roles with a variety of companies. I have enjoyed the challenges and rewards of working both as a Financial Adviser and at management level. My current role at Landmark involves ensuring we maintain the  highest standards in the provision of advice to client's, and comply with the rules and regulations laid out by our regulator, the Financial Conduct Authority. I hold the Chartered Financial Planner qualification, the advanced level qualification of the Chartered Insurance Institute. This qualification is of great value in my work at Landmark as I spend a lot of time ensuring our advice to client's in the important and complex areas of Retirement and Trust and Taxation planning is of the required standard.


    I am married to Sangeeta and have two teenage Sons', Rohun and Jaysol. We take our leisure time seriously and try to plan as many holidays  and Theatre and Cinema visits as we can. We also enjoy walking in the countryside and playing and watching Cricket.

    I have worked in the Financial Services industry for over 30 years, mainly within the corporate banking sector and being responsible for building successful teams.  After advising clients for many years, I moved on to hold many Senior Management positions, the last being as a Tax and Trust specialist for Nationwide Building Society.  In this role I was responsible for the development  of Inheritance Tax and Estate Planning advice across the UK.

    My role at Landmark is to ensure that our number of Advisers grows in accordance with the needs of our customer base, alongside the coaching and development of new Advisers joining the business.

    I am married to Lisa, a dedicated Special Educational Needs Support Assistant and we have two children Callum and Ciara. When not working, I like to spend time with the family enjoying days out, as well as indulging a keen hobby of keeping a large saltwater coral and marine fish tank.

    I have worked for Landmark for 7 years and have 26 years’ experience in Financial services. Specialising mostly in Retirement Planning and Investments, I work with individuals and companies to ensure they are invested and protected appropriately.  I am a fully qualified Independent Financial Adviser and also hold qualifications in Mortgage Advice and Equity Release.

    My team here in Bourne are:

    Diane is my Office Manager and has been working with me for 7 years, previously she worked for a building society and has extensive experience in office management

    Nicky is my Paraplanner, she has over 8 years experience in Financial Services including working in Landmark’s head office and works with our existing investment clients. She is working towards further qualifications to support her current role.

    Simon is my Pension and Investment analyst and was a fully qualified IFA before deciding he preferred the analytical side of the business.

I pride myself on my personal communication skills and my ability to relate to clients from all walks of life and financial awareness. Many of my clients have become personal friends with their family members becoming clients through continuous referral. I have the Diploma in financial planning and provide advice across a wide range of client needs such as Retirement planning, Investments, Estate planning and Protection.

    Interests outside of work include all types of sport, keeping fit, cars and motorcycles.

    After leaving the RAF following 14 years service, my career path took me unexpectedly into the financial services industry  where I have served  as an IFA for 32 years and with Landmark since 2009.

    Over the many years in the industry, I have gained valuable experience in the mortgage and protection market and the retirement planning market involving pensions and investments. However, of late my preferred market is the retirement planning market involving pensions and investments especially with the coming of the "Pension Freedoms".

    My clients are many and varied, young and elderly, some near some far, and working from home I am more than happy to visit clients in their own home or at their workplace.

    Whilst not working, my hobbies include playing the keyboard for my local evangelical church, ten pin bowling and supporting my hometown football team Huddersfield Town

I am a Chartered Financial Planner and a member of the Personal Finance Society and the Chartered Insurance Institute. I also hold a degree in Organisation and Management Studies and the Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing. I am happy to meet clients at our offices, their place of work or their home, whichever is appropriate. I am married with two daughters and if I get any spare time, I like to try and keep fit by jogging.

    I joined Landmark in 2006 and have worked in financial services for 21 years since deciding to stop commuting to London, where I worked in banking. I am now concentrating on the mortgage market where I have considerable experience of all types of mortgages, including Residential, Buy to Let, and Equity Release. I also provide protection products including Life Insurance and Mortgage Protection and Income protection, along with general insurance such as Building and contents. I am happy to visit clients at their homes at a time to suit or am available to meet in Rock House if preferred.

    I am a Chartered Financial Planner with 23 years' experience in financial services. I specialise in wealth management, helping my clients to achieve their goals and maintain them throughout their life. I particularly enjoy cash flow modelling coupled with investment  and tax planning to enable people to keep more of what they have earned. I am able to advise on all aspects of financial planning including equity release.


    I get on well with people and many of my clients have become close friends over the years.


    I have a degree in Applied Chemistry which explains my analytical nature!


    I love animals and in my spare time like nothing more than taking my golden retrievers to the beach. I have a motorhome and enjoy travelling, as well as photography, playing golf and cooking.

    I have been in the financial services industry for 15 years now and have developed a wealth of knowledge from previous companies such as Halifax and Nationwide Building Society which led me to become and IFA with Landmark IFA Ltd from June 2017. 


    What I love the most about what I do is building long lasting relationships with my clients and advising them through the different stages of financial planning. I provide clear, non-jargon advice that is personalised to each client. Feedback I receive is that I am able to explain and advise at any level of financial planning by being able to relate to my clients from all walks of life. 


    My area of expertise lay within investments, Inheritance Tax planning, retirement planning and protection.


    My spare time is being a mum to my 3 year old son Archie and a wife of 13 years to my husband Ian. I also own my own horse, Milly and dog, Tilly. If there’s any time to spare I love to socialise with my family and friends, eating out and going to the races.

    I have worked in Financial Services for more than a decade.  The majority of my career has been working for Large Corporate Companies such as Lloyds Banking Group and Nationwide Building Society offering Financial Advice to Personal and Business Clients.  However, in 2017 I decided to say goodbye to The Corporate World and join Landmark as an IFA.


    I pride myself on always placing my clients at the heart of everything I do.  I believe that Financial Planning starts with listening to and understanding my clients.  I am then able to research solutions which are tailor-made to meet their needs. 


    In my view Financial Planning does not stop at the setting up of solutions.  Therefore, ongoing service is of utmost importance to ensure that my clients are looked after over the future years and that their Investment move with them and their ever-changing lives.


    Outside of work I spend most of my time with my Husband John and my Dog ‘Reggie the Doberman’.  We live in a small village in the middle of Thetford Forest.  In the Spring and Summer months we can always be found out and about exploring the Forest.

    I joined Landmark in January 2018, leaving a role at Chase de Vere Independent Financial Advisers Ltd where I worked as a Paraplanner for 4 years. I have over 24 years of experience within the financial services industry working for recognised names as Nationwide Building Society and Zurich as well as Health Lambert Consulting Ltd in London. I love detail, so my position of Paraplanner at Landmark really utilises this skill-set in providing technical support in complex case planning. I enjoy the research and investigation required to support the holistic advice provided to our clients by our team of Financial Planners.


    I live in North Bedfordshire and I am Mum to two teenage children which keeps me very busy but when I do have spare time I enjoy going to festivals and walking my dogs; a rescue Irish Wolfhound cross, a very feisty Parsons Terrier and a blind and fully retired Basset Hound.
